I would too, but there is no PLUG IN HYBRID truck yet, as the other Ford hybrids and the Maverick hybrid are all 'basic' hybrids where you have no control over being able to drive in 'EV MODE ONLY'. I love my wife's new KIA SORENTO PHEV for that very reason. She can drive her hybrid to work and back everyday and the engine is never part of the action. We can also travel thousands of miles without charging. It IS the best of both worlds in certain situations, but we've also LEASED this Kia for 3 years, as I know that by that time there will be a three-row seat SUV of her liking that will be ALL-ELECTRIC by then.
