I was thinking this too. Can't wait to see what options they offer. In some ways the Pro is actually better than the XLT with vinyl seats instead of cloth seats and rubberized floor instead of carpeted floor.

I agree with you. I also like the Vinyl Seats. They are much easier to clean than the cloth seats. Specially if the dog gets in the truck with dirty or muddy paws. Will the vinyl seats be offered on the XLT or just cloth? Do you happen to know all the extras on the Lariat versus the XLT?Not trying to talk you into a higher trim, but the XLT also has the smaller screen and physical knobs. Only the Lariat and Platinum have the larger screen.
Turns out my business doesn't qualify....What qualifies you for an FIN? From what I could see you have to have a business that either purchased 5 new Ford vehicles in the past year or have a registered taxi/transportation business.
I’ve heard that on the ICE truck you can delete the carpet in an XLT to get the rubber floors of the XL. Not sure about the seats, but it wouldn’t make much sense to have cloth seats with rubber floors.I agree with you. I also like the Vinyl Seats. They are much easier to clean than the cloth seats. The attachments are great. I prefer cloth seats myself. I’m going with XLT+ partially to get the cloth. Vinyl is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter for me. And I’m an ethical vegetarian, so leather is out.
The likely differences between the XLT and Lariat are described on those images of the surveys some people got several months ago. Attached below.
You can buy a hybrid Maverick for the $20k you are saving, use that for road trips, and rent it out on Turo the rest of the year.Turns out my business doesn't qualify....
So the extended range battery (and attendant faster charging) seems like the only thing that might get me to take the leap into the XLT. However, am I right that would effectively be a $20k premium over the Pro?
Base Pro is $39,974 (can't order extended battery pack without a fleet account)
Base XLT is $52,974 with a $7,000 option for the extended range battery pack = $59,974
$20k is a huge difference just to make one or two road trips a year more convenient. So, while I would love the additional battery capacity, it doesn't seem rational for me at that premium. But Ford must think it will be for most buyers....
Forward and Backwards 2 ways. That's the way they count on my Lincoln 2017Does anyone know what the two ways are the drivers seat would move on the pro model? There are three essential ways to move imo. Front/back, up/down, and recline.
[edit] It looks like the driver seat only can only be adjusted front/back and recline. There is no height adjustment.
The pro will have front/back and then reclining as the 2 ways. I guess it's technically 4 but I think they only use each direction on the power seats to make it sound like it's a lot more adjustable than it really is.Forward and Backwards 2 ways. That's the way they count on my Lincoln 2017
They don’t even let non-commercial customers buy the Pro with standard range pack. With Tesla raising prices more than $10k and now Rivian raising prices more than $12k, it will be a while before we can buy an affordable electric truck.Any rumors that at some point Ford may allow non-commercial customers to buy a Pro with the extended range battery pack?
Unless you've got a photo that is verifiably not mirror-flipped, everything I've ever seen and read has the charge port on the left side for all models. There is a matching panel on the right side (again, for all models), but it's just for appearance and doesn't open.I was surprised to see the charge port was on the right side for the Pro and lift side for all other trims. I wonder why ?
Actually, if you go on the Ford website and choose the XLT with extended range, the base price goes to $72,474. The 311A trim package is deleted and the 312A trim is substituted with a $9500 upcharge. I may be missing something, but it appears that even on the XLT there is a $20,000 difference for the extended range battery.Turns out my business doesn't qualify....

Watch it again. The guy talking is on the right side of the truck, but when they show the charge cable plugging into the truck they've cut to stock footage and they're on the left side. You can tell by the shape of the chargeport door, which is narrower at the front to avoid interference with the wheel well. It's also hinged at the front.watch the video it shows you.
If you watch closely when he presses the door nothing happens and then cuts into stock video of the charge door.watch the video it shows you.
